Thursday Art Club #2: Halloween

Today we're taking a break from doing a "lesson". I knew kids would disappear fast to go trick-or-treating, so we just did a fun seasonal craft: mini jack-o-lantern candle holders!

Pretty simple...brush a glue/water mixture onto the jar, paste orange tissue paper squares on, paste on face made of black construction paper, brush more glue-water on to solidify everything, and it's ready to dry! (for those interested)

Next week I'll get back to the actual art lessons, but for now, it's Halloween, I say let 'em make a mess. And once those were done, we grabbed some Disney coloring sheets and "zombified" them.

And now, I must raid the kids' candy bags, and steal all the Butterfingers.

Happy Halloween!
